East River Ferry

I often take for granted that I live in a truly beautiful, massive city. One of the best things about having out of town guests is that their trip becomes my perfect excuse to get out and explore right along side with them.

{Brunch because duh}

My favorite way to play tourist is to take the East River Ferry from LIC down to DUMBO. We usually start out at Gantry State Park in LIC for some beautiful midtown views, brunch, and the LIC Flea. The ferry is pretty costly in comparison to the subway, but you just can’t beat the view.

I’m a (mostly) proud Queens girl, but I really do love the sights in Brooklyn. Sometimes the people I’m walking around with get a littttttle annoyed since I’m constantly stopping to take photos of everything. Yes, I’ve lived here for 7+ years and yes, I’ve seen all of this before. But my short term memory requires me to photograph everything so I never forget it. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

{Instas from this weekend. Follow along @lovelarisalove}

Life has been non stop lately, and finally this Sunday we have no plans other than Church. The hubs and I cannot wait for a day filled with nothing – it’s been multiple non stop evenings and weekends of entertaining and tons of fun, but my PJs are calling my name!
