I’ve been throwing an annual Halloween party for a few years now, and it is always a fun excuse to
eat too much candy get creative with treats. I used to shy away from heavily themed snacks and go the more “color coordinated” route, but I think this year I am definitely going to try my hand at a little bit more complicated recipes. Gotta try and level up my Domestic Goddess status!
1. Halloween Bark by Family Fresh Meals: With a prep time of 1 minute and a cook time of 5 minutes I doubt I’ll be able to mess this us! (Famous last words)
2. Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats via Eille la cheap: Anything that doesn’t require an oven is perfect in my book. That food coloring though.
3. Easy Pumpkin Cupcakes by lilluna.com: Pumpkin and Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting? I’m in! And it will be nice that only one thing will require the oven.
4. Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops by JustaTaste.com: These are simply too cute for words. And who doesn’t like marshmallows?!
We were originally going to have our party on Halloween, but I am obv going to need some time perfecting these recipes, so November 1st it is. And as for the costumes: we always do this thing where we wait until the last minute to figure out what to be. We have a few good ideas in the running, but any suggestions for me and my two roomies would be very much appreciated!
