Beauty Must Have: KAYO Body Beautiful Creme

Smooth, touchable skin is often an afterthought for me. Silly, I know, but I just always forget the whole lotion step after I get out of the shower. It only occurs to me to make it happen when I’m trying to go somewhere in a skirt. Oops.

When I was sent a sample of this KAYO Body Beautiful Creme I didn’t think much of it. Just another lotion to carry around or let hang in my vanity. However, I was gladly proven wrong. I fell in love at first application, and my skin hasn’t been the same since.

This creme genuinely gets the job done: the thick formula means that a very little bit goes a long way. I have this accompany me to all my pedicure appointments and am always pleasantly surprised at how very little they need to use. My skin is left feeling smooth, not oily or sticky. Another huge bonus: it’s the kind of lotion you can put on without having to play the wait for it to dry game. I’m always in a rush, so this lotion comes in handy on even the craziest of mornings.

Then there’s the scent: a non negotiable for me and all my lotions. If it doesn’t smell right, it obviously isn’t going to work out. But the KAYO Body Beautiful Creme really does smell amazing. It has a sweet, almost cotton candy like smell to it. But it’s subtle use of vanilla, coconut, and green tea is a welcome fragrance. Plus, it’s always nice to have an organic lotion that doesn’t rely on a lavender scent to do the heavy lifting.

Now, the price point: It is a ridiculous $58 per bottle. Yes, it’s expensive and yes, it goes against my budget beauty buys that I rave about on this blog. Sure, you can probably find something better that smells just as good. But the KAYO Body Beauty Creme is formulated with high quality natural ingredients. You can genuinely feel the difference in the application and in how long it lasts. It’s a pretty penny to spend – don’t get me wrong. But the difference I feel and how little you need per application makes me think that this is an investment worth the splurge.
