Real Talk? I’m a sucker for the Kardashians. They are business women who GET IT and have found a way to make “being famous for being famous” into a profitable lifestyle. They might sell their souls a little bit in this way, but I can’t bring myself to be mad at it. I’m sorry but I am also not sorry at all.
The truth about these lip glosses is that they are the same quality you’ll get from MAC or anything at Sephora, only these are so exclusive because of her limited releases. Brilliant. Strategy.
The glosses come in three shades: Like, Literally, and So Cute. They go from dark, to light, to lightest. Therefore, one me the Like shade looks the best. I didn’t think it would: sometimes I confuse my skin tone for much lighter than it actually is. But the truth is that I probably should not have gotten all three: “So Cute” just doesn’t look right on me.

Kylie Jenner’s lip glosses really do have lasting power: they. stay. on. And I don’t mean the sticky lip gloss part of it stays on. You know how some lip glosses just leave the stick but not the actual color? These colors are not going anywhere throughout the day, and it’s quite impressive.
I will say that these do have a very strong child-like scent. It’s a sickly sweet smell that reminds me of being 10 years old. Or maybe I was the only 10 year old who loved to smell like bubble gum and strawberries? All I’m saying is that while it’s a great product, the fragrance is reminiscent of my Limited Too days.
Overall, Kylie Jenner’s lip glosses are worth the hype, but maybe not the drama to get one if you’re not a Kardashian fan girl. I subscribed to Kylie Cosmetic’s Tweets in order to know about the upcoming restocks, and it borderline consumed my life. These are great glosses, but in reality you can get similar quality without all the hassle and without checking your phone every 5 seconds. I’m the girl that does that, but I 100% get that not everyone is!
