Summer Throwback

It has been pretty unreasonably cold in NYC lately, and let me tell you that this California girl cannot hang. Sure, it’s warmer than it was last year during the Polar Vortex (ugh), but that doesn’t mean I can’t be cold! I love a good faux fur vest but I miss the sunshine like you couldn’t believe. I’m seriously about to get my indoor tanning on just so I can be around Vitamin D a little bit. Instead of subjecting my skin to that, I’ve decided to reminisce and troll some of my summer archives. Care to join me?

Love this post from the weekend my mom came to visit –  little did I know this would be the first of many times I would see her throughout the course of the year!

Remember that time I got engaged? No big deal. Just the best friggin day of my life!

That time I had all the feelings – although now I’m starting to recognize that perhaps my unwavering standards end up making me more stubborn than I need to be in certain scenarios. More on that next week.

The last post of the season – big changes from the year before. 2014 was such a great year to me.

I try to look forward as often as I can, but I can’t help getting nostalgic every now and then. Besides… with it getting dark so early, and me bundling up all the time I need something to distract me!
