I very happily logged off over the past several days, and what they say is so very true: an internet detox does the soul some good. But I’ve obviously missed it: so here’s a post on a Saturday. Whoa.

For the first year in a long time I didn’t partake in Black Friday shopping. Normally this is a tradition that I love, but this year with the wedding coming up it is definitely not the time to spend frivolously. I have most of the gifts I need for this year, anyway.

These photos are from the other weekend, when we wandered through TriBeCa and SoHo after brunch and cake tasting with some friends. It was a delicious time, and I’m pretty excited about the wedding cake and flavors! And while this is by no means a fashion blog, I do love when my hat, my scarf, and my lipstick match!

IMG_7251 IMG_7257I didn’t make it home for Thanksgiving this year and while it was sad not to be with my family, it was wonderful to be able to spend the day with my fiance and in laws. I’m a very lucky girl!

I hope you had a fun Turkey Day and got some fun things on Black Friday. Here’s to Cyber Monday!
